Nivo Bio-Gauze is a biocompatible regenerated cellulose, contains no chemical additives,adn chemically treated to become water-soluble. Upon contact the material dissolves and transforms into a gelatinous material upon contact with moist oral wound. By Applying gengle pressure the material will adhere to the wound and form a barrier protecting the wound from further irritation. Nivo Bio-Gauze will dissolve in a few days and if safe swallowed. Any excess dressing material may be removed by rinsing with saline solution or sterile water.
